Snake.io : Angry Slither Worm FAQ and Tips
Snake has been around forever in one form or another, but this take dumps you into a crowded arena full of other players' worms and basically says "good luck, don't die instantly." You're picking up glowing pellets to grow longer, and the whole time you've got rivals slithering around trying to box you in or cut you off. It's simple to pick up, sure, but the moment another worm nearly clips your head you'll feel your palms get a little sweaty. That tension between casual snacking and sudden panic is really the whole hook here.
Pro-Level Advice
- Hug the outer edges early on when your worm is still short and vulnerable, since fewer rivals tend to patrol the corners.
- Watch bigger worms from a distance before committing to a path near them; they can turn faster than you'd expect.
- Use tight loops to trap smaller opponents once you've got some length behind you, forcing them into your body.
- Don't get greedy chasing one huge pile of pellets if it means crossing right in front of a longer worm's head.
- Slow, deliberate turns keep you predictable to yourself and unpredictable to everyone else watching your trail.
How To Play
- Guide your worm around the map, steering it toward the scattered glowing dots to grow bit by bit.
- Keep your head away from any other worm's body, including your own tail if you loop back carelessly.
- Force opponents into cutting you off or crashing into your length to take them out and grab what they drop.
- Stay alive as long as possible, because length alone doesn't matter if your head hits something first.
- Adjust direction constantly rather than committing to one straight line, since predictability gets punished fast.
